Stubbington Day Four

Day Four

Our last full day and we have made the most of it!
This morning we checked our Mammal Hotels and we had 4 visitors.

We studied the Long Tailed Field Mice.

We sketched the animals, looked at their adaptations to their environment and then let them go.

This afternoon we tried loads of team building activities which earned us feathers.

We then used the feathers to buy resources to protect an egg.

We tested the protection by catapulting them across the playground!

Stubbington - Day Three

Day Three

We have had another exciting and fun filled day. The weather hasn't been great again but we haven't let that stop us.

This morning we learned about Earthquakes and took support to those in need after one had happened. We had to take lots of equipment to those who were trapped but it wasn't easy!

Crossing Lava Leap

We spent the afternoon setting up mammal hotels and looking for signs of animal life in the conservation area.

We have put our mammal hotels outside and will check on them tomorrow morning.

We then looked around the site for signs of animals. (Footprints, homes, food remains and droppings).
