Year 3 and 4  great fun at a drumming workshop this week. We used chairs as drums and learnt to play different rhythms using drumsticks. We put our routines to some great music! More photos to be added later.

Autumn and Poppy Pictures

In our Music lessons with Mrs Pritchard, we sketched Autumn pictures bases around Autumn Music we listened to such as Antonio Vivaldi's "Autumn".  We also sketched some poppy pictures in our Italian lessons as part of Armistice Day.

Autumn Music Sketches

As part of Ground's Week, Year 5 sketched Autumn pictures based around one of Antonio Vivaldi's Concertos for violin - "Autumn" from the Four Seasons, with Mrs Pritchard. We listened to the beautiful piece of music and drew our pictures.  Here are some of our pictures.

Busy Bee with our Families

In Year R, we spend our afternoons doing Busy Bee. This is a time that we get to choose our learning and what we want to play with. We were lucky enough to have our families come in and play with us for one of our Busy Bee sessions. We had great fun showing them our favourite games and where we like to play in our classroom. We also had lots of help from them with some special jobs, like gardening in our outside area, decorating planets we made during our Aliens Love Moorlands topic, making up a recipe in our mud kitchen, junk modelling a rocket and working in our Pant Shop role play area and decorating pants to be sold.
