Our Trip to Portchester Castle

As part of our topic of dungeons and dragons year two were lucky to visit Portchester castle as a school trip. We were welcomed by Lady Mary and Brother Steven, the keepers of the castle. The guard of the castle would only let us in if we promised to be on our best behaviour which of course we were!!!! We found out that King Edward the third and King Richard the second both lived at Portchester and we had great fun acting out their characters. We learned lots about castles and castle life.
